I offer outdoor sessions for various different reasons.
The outdoors gives me a freedom and connection to nature that both help me to accompany my clients in a closer yet more open way.
The body-mind connection is vital to our wellbeing. Some people feel less restricted in open spaces, especially in nature.
Others feel that nature helps them to connect more easily with their own feelings and needs.
And yet others enjoy the freedom of movement in an open space and appreciate that being able to walk side by side helps them to connect with someone else, only having to use eye contact when they really need to.
And finally, some people find that being in nature and open spaces connects them with their spirituality, which can help them with their overall process.
You can choose to do outdoor therapy for any of these reasons, and you can even, of course, combine it with online sessions. You can decide what you need or even just do therapy online.
